1. Order Cancellation

Patrons may cancel an order only before it has been processed or dispatched from our warehouse.

If the order has already been dispatched, cancellation requests cannot be accepted.

2. Return Eligibility

Due to the consumable and perishable nature of tea products, Tea Coins generally does not accept returns of products once delivered.

However, returns or replacements may be approved under the following circumstances:

  • Product received is damaged during transit.
  • Incorrect product delivered.
  • Product packaging is tampered with upon delivery.
  • Product is defective or unfit for consumption upon arrival.
  • Requests must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery.

3. Damaged or Incorrect Products

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect product, email us at info@maachai.co within 48 hours of delivery and include your order number, product images, images of the shipping package, and a brief description of the issue.

Our team will review the request and respond within 3-5 business days.

If approved, Tea Coins may offer product replacement, store credit, or refund to the original payment method at our sole discretion based on the circumstances.

4. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Opened tea packs.
  • Used products.
  • Products purchased during clearance or promotional sales.
  • Gift cards or promotional vouchers.
  • Products damaged due to improper storage after delivery.

5. Refund Process

Once a refund request is approved:

  • Refunds will be initiated to the original payment method.
  • Processing may take 5-10 business days depending on the payment provider or banking institution.
  • Shipping charges are generally non-refundable unless the error was caused by Tea Coins.
  • Patrons will receive confirmation once the refund has been processed.

6. Failed Transactions

In the event of a payment failure where funds are deducted but the order is not confirmed, the amount is usually reversed automatically by the payment provider.

If the refund is not received within 7 business days, please contact our support team.

7. Subscription Orders

For recurring tea subscriptions, patrons may cancel future deliveries before the next billing cycle.

Charges already processed for shipped orders are non-refundable.

8. Tea Tourism Experiences & Events

Bookings for Tea Coins tea experiences, estate visits, workshops, or tourism activities may be subject to separate cancellation terms disclosed at the time of booking.

Refund eligibility for such experiences will depend on the specific booking conditions.

9. Force Majeure

Tea Coins shall not be responsible for delays, cancellations, or disruptions caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters.
  • Government restrictions.
  • Transportation disruptions.
  • Strikes.
  • Public health emergencies.
